My passion to present worshipful music

The intent of the musical program at Grace Anglican Church of Boise is to reflect on the classical musical heritage of the one Holy catholic and apostolic church that has developed over several milleniums. We incorporate recitation, chant, polyphony, Anglican chant (four-part harmony), medieval and reformation hymnody, as well as developing church music of more recent eras. The criterion for musical selections are that the musical words and tunes should be appropriate for the texts of the day, and reflect the liturgical season. In the Anglican Church in North America, we are experiencing rapid growth in evangelical and charismatic expressions of our ancient faith along with the Anglo-catholic models of prior ages. Much experimentation with worship styles and musical styles are being developed. My passion is to present the music in such a way that a worshipful attitude is developed in the liturgical partners, and that the quality of worship be maximized, and the message of scripture be clarified by what we offer unto God as our best efforts at praising and thanking Him.
